It's in the South West of the world and there are 7 Outposts in total. John's Region - Outpost Map Locations Ok, so let's take a look at John's Region (Holland Valley) of the world map. For example, you'll often find maps and new NPC's inside a liberated Outpost, allowing you to understand more of the surrounding area and push your Resistance Points even further.Ī liberated Outpost will reward you with roughly 400 resistance points and an additional 100 points for hostages rescued. Therefore, a map of all locations will come in very handy indeed! Together with story missions, Cult Outposts are a great way to build up Resistance Points and even discover new points of interest. Instead the map is shrouded by fog and only by getting close enough to an Outpost will it be marked on your map. You won't have nice markers telling you where to go. What's striking about Far Cry 5 is that Outposts do not behave like Towers in the older games. Just take a look at the best weapons in the shop and you'll see that many are behind Resistance Levels, these are the circular milestone markers on the meter you see in each of the regions. As you should be well aware, Resistance Points are the progression system in Far Cry 5 and without these points you cannot unlock the games best weapons, vehicles and other luxuries. Each Outpost provides the opportunity to collect more Resistance Points, unlocking new weapons and ultimately tempting the Father's siblings out of cover.
